Affrètements hebdomadaires à Saint-Tropez

A private weekly boat charter is a multi-day boat rental where you have exclusive use of the yacht, catamaran, or sailing boat for several days or a full week. Weekly boat charters are ideal for exploring multiple islands, coastlines, anchorages, beaches, and marinas at a relaxed pace.

Yes, many weekly boat charters are available as crewed charters with a captain and sometimes a hostess, chef, or full crew. This is the most comfortable option if you want a private yacht charter experience without handling navigation, docking, provisioning, or daily planning yourself.

In some destinations, bareboat weekly charters are available for experienced sailors or boaters with the correct license. Requirements depend on the country, boat size, charter company, and local regulations. If you do not have the right qualifications, you can usually book the same yacht with a skipper.

A weekly yacht charter usually includes the boat, standard safety equipment, basic onboard equipment, and sometimes dinghy use. Depending on the charter type, the price may or may not include skipper, crew, fuel, marina fees, final cleaning, food, drinks, taxes, insurance, bedding, towels, or local permits.

Common extra costs can include fuel, marina fees, skipper or crew fees, provisioning, drinks, meals, port taxes, national park fees, final cleaning, security deposit, and optional water toys. Crewed yacht charters may use an APA system, where an advance payment covers variable expenses during the charter.

Yes, weekly private boat charters can be excellent for families, especially on catamarans and larger yachts with cabins, bathrooms, shaded areas, and stable decks. A crewed charter is often the easiest option for families because the captain handles navigation and safety while guests relax.

Catamarans are popular for weekly charters because they offer space, stability, multiple cabins, and shallow draft. Sailing yachts are ideal for traditional sailing experiences, while motor yachts are better for speed, luxury, and covering longer distances in less time. The best boat depends on your group size, budget, comfort expectations, and itinerary.

Yes, the itinerary is usually flexible, but it must be realistic for the boat, weather, distance, and local conditions. The captain or charter base will recommend the best route, including overnight stops, anchorages, marinas, beaches, snorkeling areas, restaurants, and protected bays.

Most bareboat and some skippered weekly charters require a refundable security deposit. This protects the boat owner against damage, missing equipment, or insurance excess. Crewed luxury yacht charters may have different payment structures and insurance arrangements.

For peak season, school holidays, Christmas, New Year, Easter, and summer weeks, it is best to book several months in advance. The best yachts, catamarans, and crewed boat charters in Saint-Tropez often sell out early during high-demand periods.
